KKN Thematic Universitas Negeri Malang college students carry out socialization activities in the face of the New Normal Life era in Jambearjo as Preventive Measures to prevent Covid-19 outbreaks.
Sunday (21/06) The socialization in the face of the New Normal Life Era has implemented in Jambearjo, Malang regency in Sunday June 21st 2020 by KKN Thematic Universitas Negeri Malang College Student and invited village officials as well as 26 Ketua RT in Jambearjo Village, Tajinan District, Malang Regency. The socialization activities carried out aim to increase awareness among village officials and the wider community of the importance of improving the implementation and application of health protocols in the New Normal Life era. The theme was “Think clearly and stick to health protocols for mutual safety”. The theme was initiated in line with the objectives of the socialization by continuing to think clearly and adhere to health protocols so that the breaking of the chain of spread of the Covid-19 virus can be achieved. In the socialization, it was begun with remarks by Mohammad Sukarno Putra as KKN Village Coordinator whose remarks explained the purpose of the socialization and explained about the health protocol at the time of the socialization. Furthermore, remarks were carried out by Mr. Bambang Mawardi as Head of Jambearjo Village, remarks containing the situation of the Jambearjo village in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as giving further directions to the RT Chair who attended the socialization event.
The activity was followed by giving material by drg. Diki Tri Bagus Dermawan, S. Kg. as a health expert in handling Covid-19. The doctor explained the ins and outs of the actions that must be taken in dealing with the new normal life. Doctors emphasize in all ways to improve immunity. According to the doctor, maintaining body immunity is very useful in terminating the spread and outbreak of Covid-19. In the socialization activities, the community was very enthusiastic to hear the explanation from the doctor. In the socialization, there were questions about how to use cash and sports that are suitable for elderly citizens. The question was answered concisely and clearly by the doctor so that residents could understand the answers the doctor delivered. With this socialization activity, it is expected to increase awareness and application of the new normal life health protocol in Jambearjo Village so that the Jambearjo Village area becomes a Resilient Village in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.
